Tech Review: New Samsung Galaxy S III

Galaxy S II is the smart phone that rewrote the fate of Samsung Mobiles in India. S II which was introduced in February 2011 has acquired more than 20 million users all over the world. For the first time the supremacy of Apple iPhone was questioned after Galaxy S II became excessively popular. S II gave Samsung the proud honour of the world's largest cellphone producers.

And now, Samsung has introduced the successor of S II and has earned much of the headline space. The new phone named Samsung Galaxy S III was introduced to the world at the launch event at London.

Features

At the first look, it is the large screen of Galaxy S III that catches the eyes. S III has a pretty large 4.8" Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Half an inch more than the previous model. We should remind you that iPhone has a screen size of only 3.5". S III has also surpassed HTC X One (4.7") and Nokia Lumia 900 (4.3") in terms of screen size. In spite of the large screen, Galaxy S III is handy enough. It is sure that none of the existing smart phones can stant as tall as Galaxy S III in the matter of display. S III has arrived with some innovative technology that no one in the market has. Smart Stay eye tracking system which works by analysing the eye movements of the user is the most important among them. Look at the screen and you will see that the screen lighting never goes off as long as you keep looking. And the screen doesn't get locked till you move your eyes away. Another interesting feature, select a contact and bring the phone near your ears the call goes automatically. Fantastic, isn't it?

S III has also got a digital voice recognition system called S-Voice. S-Voice is a much powerful voice recognition system than SIRI of Apple iPhone. Want to raise the volume of your favourite music while playing, just speak to S III and the smart buddy will have it done. How easy!! Not over, you can use oice commands to send a mail, take a photo and much more.

A new feature called S-Beam has been included that increases the data transfer rate to other phones. S-Beam also helps in displaying your favourite videos on Samsung HDTV.

S III which works on Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), has a high speed 1.4Ghz Exynos Quad-Core processor. S III is the first smart phone that runs on a Quad-Core processor. 1 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 64 GB expandable memory, 2,100MAh battery, are other hardware features of Galaxy S III.

S III has an 8 megapixel camera with almost no shutterlag. The secondary camera for video calling has 1.9 megapixels. Connectivity features include 4G, Wi-Fi and GPS. NFC, which helps in mobile money transfer is also present in the new Galaxy S III.
