The retro Vespa, which is a nostalgia for the Indian, is all set to be back into the race with the Japanese and Indian brands in the Indian market. The Vespa first came to India in the sixties and was in the market for years by collaboration with the Bajaj Auto. At the time of Indira Gandhi, Vespa had to stop its run due to license renewal issues. After a lag, it came again in the nineties by collaboration with LML and again the Vespa had to put on breaks dues technical issues. Vespa is taking rebirth with classic looks. Eventhough its design is classic everything else under the belt is up to date, like the new automatic transmission and the new generation engine.


Styling

The new Vespa comes with a 125cc four stroke single cylinder engine. For maximum stability the engine is fixed at the median rather to the sides as in age old Vespa . It has got punctureless tires.

Technical

The engine delivers a power of 10PS. A mileage above 60kmpl, automatic transmission, traditional mono cock shasi and best in class suspension are other UPS of the revamped Vespa. The appropriate use of chrome makes the new Vespa more beautiful than ever before. Its has got never before powerful halogen head lamps and clear side indicators. The seat fabric is of artificial leather that provides maximum comfort. It has also got under seat storage. The console itself will be enough for the vespa to be par ahead others . The rate tag for the new vespa would be around Rs. 68,488 on road.
